Photographic Archive

hollandThe Photograph Archive contains many thousands of photographs depicting the Royal Navy Submarine Service from its inception in 1901 with HM Torpedo Boat No. 1 (aka ‘Holland 1’) to the latest Astute-class submarines. These include photographs, digital images, negatives, lantern slides and glass plate negatives of the Submarines, their Crews, Depot Ships and Shore Bases.
